The Bvlgari x MB&F Serpenti watch is a stunning collaboration between two luxury brands, Bvlgari and MB&F, presenting a reimagining of Bvlgari’s iconic Serpenti in a form never seen before. This fusion of beauty and high engineering has birthed a new star that captivates the eyes and hearts of horology enthusiasts.

The Background of the Collaboration

Bvlgari x MB&F previously created a sensation with the LM FlyingT Allegra in 2021. This time, Fabrizio Buonamassa Stigliani, Bvlgari's Product Creation Executive Director, presented a new Serpenti concept to Maximilian Büsser, the founder of MB&F, to invite him to embark on another fun and grand endeavor. Following their creative exchange, it evolved into the Bvlgari x MB&F Serpenti watch.

Inspiration and Design of the Bvlgari x MB&F Serpenti

Stemming from Buonamassa’s hobby of sketching cars in his spare time and Maximilian’s dream of being a car designer, the influence on this special Serpenti model is clear. The case follows the shape of a snake’s head but with a sports car-inspired structure. Five curved and slanted sapphire crystals reveal the complex mechanism within, much like a rear window showcasing the engine of a high-end sports car. The crown, in the style of the MB&F Bulldog, is reminiscent of side wheels. These combinations result in a new, distinct, and unique Serpenti.

Mechanism and Functionality of the Bvlgari x MB&F Serpenti

The Bvlgari x MB&F Serpenti uses a manual-wind movement adapted from MB&F’s HM10 Bulldog model. It displays hours and minutes via rotating aluminum domes coated with Super-LumiNova under the dome-shaped crystals, which act as the "eyes." A balance wheel is suspended by a bridge in the center, and flipping it over reveals the power reserve.

Available in 3 materials, with each model limited to only 33 pieces:

1. Grade 5 titanium case, blue dome. Price excluding tax approximately 132,000 Euros.

2.  Rose Gold case, green dome. Price excluding tax approximately 152,000 Euros (a perfect match if you already own a Serpenti Misteriosi Secret). 

3. Black PVD-coated stainless steel case, red dome. Price excluding tax approximately 132,000 Euros.
