This Tag Heuer Carrera Green Special Edition is conceptualized to honor the original 1963 Carrera. It brings back the Riviera-style elegance of the angular lugs and the glass-box dome crystal, combined with creamy luminescent hour markers, all while blending in modern contemporary features. Starting with the shade of green inspired by the head of a mallard duck, or "Teal," it looks soothing yet maintains a luxurious feel with a sunray brushed finish, contrasted by sub-dials with an "Azurage" or vinyl-record pattern.
Limited to only 500 pieces, each watch is unnumbered but features a "Special Edition" engraving on the case back to denote its equal level of exclusivity. The 39mm stainless steel case is perfectly sized, allowing the crystal to stand out and showcase its curves and sporty lines, evoking both a traditional and modern sentiment. It is powered by the Automatic Chronograph Cal. Heuer 02 movement, offering an 80-hour power reserve, highlighted by a skeletonized black oscillating weight with green accents on the counterweight, as well as the column wheel—a small but truly eye-catching detail.
It comes with a black alligator leather strap and a folding clasp featuring the polished brand logo.
