This watch brand from Biel/Bienne, Switzerland, features intricate and creative manufacturing technology. Its founders, Alvin Lye and Christopher Long, both shared a desire to create an ideal timepiece, one packed with stories, memories, or personal passions.
Childhood memories into dream watches
Christopher Long channeled the childhood passions still embedded in him—from the cartoons or fantasy films every boy dreams about, such as having a powerful robot friend or traveling through space in a high-tech spacecraft—into the watches he wanted. Quirky timepieces like Mr. Roboto or the spaceship-shaped SP-1 were born, bringing fun and unique experiences to the indie market and watch enthusiasts.
Into a new world of timepieces with an artistic watchmaker
The core philosophy of AZIMUTH watches is simple: every model must be more special than standard timepieces. This gives designers and inventors the freedom to create works effectively, while strictly maintaining high-quality production standards. Giuseppe Picchi, a craftsman with as much skill as he has vast imagination and over 30 years of experience in watchmaking, oversees all technical aspects to ensure that the watches of their imagination can truly come to life. 
Hollywood-level boost into the universe of time
Azimuth first caught the attention of the watch industry when superstar Robin Williams auctioned a simple-looking Pilot Watch. That piece was one of the early Azimuth watches, with only 100 ever produced. It was inspired by vintage pilot watches, featuring a clean, simple dial with only hour markers and a minute scale on a large face for easy time reading. This was the first gust of wind that helped Azimuth take flight into the wider world, before the brand steered its course toward becoming an Avant-Garde Watch—or what is simply called an "Indy Watch"—and began building its own universe of time.
The Boy's Toys: A universe of time for boys
From the concepts of the watches that have reached the market, whether it be the Azimuth Gran Turismo, Azimuth Twin Turbo, or Azimuth Crazy Rider, which reference the automotive world by using various parts as the foundation for their design, to the Azimuth Mr. Roboto Bronzo and the 2nd Generation Mr. Roboto - The R2, which look like toy robots from the 50s, it can be deduced that what lies in the DNA of Azimuth all comes from boys' toys.
