From Switzerland to North Korea

Over the past month, news about the North Korean leader has been filling our timelines. Have reliable secret sources been analyzing whether our leader is still alive? His long absence from public view has led people to miss him, sparking rumors and hearsay, especially from sources in our dear friends, the United States.
During this disappearance, fans and followers who haven't left their homes and have had plenty of free time spotted our most patriotic of leaders wearing a Swiss watch designed by an American. The photo, taken on April 27, 2018, during the summit between the leaders of North and South Korea—a piece of news that grabbed the world's attention—shows a black watch on Kim Jong-un’s wrist with a small dot on the dial, a signature of the Movado brand.
The Movado Museum model, priced in the tens of thousands, has a small case size that might be seen more as a "lady size" than a typical men's watch. The case is finished with black PVD, matching the watch strap. It is speculated that this could be a watch Kim Jong-un purchased back when he was a student in Switzerland.

The Movado Museum, designed by Nathan George Horwitt, features a German Bauhaus style with a black dial, a signature dot at the 12 o'clock position, and a black PVD-finished case.
