1815 is the birth year of Ferdinand A. Lange. In honor of this significant figure, this collection was created, featuring the classic railway track scale as its signature. It serves to connect the essential elements of the era when the brand was founded: Ferdinand, trains, and pocket watches.
The watch features a two-hand display with a small seconds sub-dial, powered by the manual-winding Caliber L941.1 with a 55-hour power reserve. It is water-resistant to 30 meters. Naturally, the case back allows you to admire the horological artistry, including floral engravings and gold chatons—a technique for setting rubies in gold that is rarely seen today but remains preserved by A. Lange & Söhne to the high standards for which they are renowned.
The A. Lange & Söhne 1815, reference 206.027, measures 36 mm and is crafted from precious 18K white gold for both the case and the hands. It features a blue dial that evokes a sleek, elegant aesthetic, complemented by traditional white enamel printing for the hour markers, the scale, and the brand name.
