The octagonal legend by master Gerald Genta has been traversing the sands of time for nearly 50 years. From its inception in 1972 until 2019, when AP was about to embark on a new chapter beyond the Royal Oak, beginning a new narrative on the timeline.
The watch features a 41mm rose gold round dial, resembling a standard timepiece. However, a closer look reveals that the case is divided into three layers, with the central core retaining the familiar octagonal shape. It is sandwiched between top and bottom pieces that have been polished to an ultra-thin profile. The top layer is fitted with a domed sapphire crystal to enhance visibility of the deep blue gradient sunburst dial, finished with a glossy lacquer for added allure. The markers and hands are equally resplendent in rose gold. The outer ring of the dial, beneath the dome crystal, displays a subtle yet bold time scale. The case finishing alternates between polished and satin-brushed surfaces—an unmatched craft executed by 11 artisans: 6 specialized in polishing and 5 in satin-brushing. The lugs are another highlight, featuring an open-worked design that allows a glimpse through to the case. Their downward curvature conforms to the wrist better than usual, ensuring comfort even for smaller wrists. It is powered by the in-house automatic Cal. 4401 movement, offering a 70-hour power reserve, a 12-hour marathon chronograph, and a flyback function. The exhibition case back showcases exquisite craftsmanship, highlighted by an open-worked 22K gold rotor that provides a clear view of the movement. The beauty and capability of this timepiece are truly abundant.

Consequently, Pixiu Watch is pleased to cover any discrepancies in the condition of the watch that we may have missed by providing a 1-year warranty on the movement of any watch purchased or traded through our store, effective from the date of purchase or trade. To provide peace of mind to all our customers and collectors, if there is any malfunction or deviation from standard timekeeping not caused by improper use by the customer, we are happy to perform repairs free of charge within the warranty period. If any parts are defective, Pixiu Watch will use 100% genuine parts from the respective brand's service center.
Buyback and Trade-in Policy
To facilitate our customers in upgrading their watches or converting them to cash, we offer a guaranteed buyback and trade-in price, though reasonable maintenance fees may be deducted if there are signs of heavy wear, such as dents, chips, or scratches on the crystal. Furthermore, we guarantee a full refund if a watch purchased from us is found to be counterfeit or contains counterfeit parts that were not disclosed by the shop in advance.
