The octagonal legend from master Gerald Genta has been traversing the passage of time for nearly 50 years. From its inception in 1972 until 2019, AP was about to embark on a new chapter beyond the Royal Oak, beginning a new narrative on the timeline of horology.
The watch features a 41mm round white gold dial that appears standard at first glance, but a closer look reveals a case structured in three tiers. The middle tier, serving as the core, retains the familiar octagonal shape, sandwiched between top and bottom sections finished with an ultra-thin polish. The upper layer is capped with a curved, dome-shaped sapphire crystal, enhancing the view of the deep red gradient sunburst dial, finished with a lacquered sunray pattern that creates a striking effect. The indices and hands are also exquisitely crafted from white gold. The outer ring of the dial, beneath the dome crystal, displays a time scale that rests quietly yet commandingly. The case finishing, which alternates between polished and satin-brushed surfaces, is unparalleled, requiring the expertise of 11 artisans—6 for polishing and 5 for satin finishing. The lugs are another highlight, featuring an open-worked design that allows a glimpse of the case underneath. The angle of the lugs is more steeply curved to contour perfectly to the wrist, making it comfortable even for smaller wrists. It is powered by the in-house Cal. 4401 automatic movement with a 70-hour power reserve, capable of tracking up to 12 hours of elapsed time with a flyback function. The exhibition case back showcases beautiful craftsmanship, highlighting an open-worked 22K gold rotor that provides a clear view of the movement's operation. This timepiece is truly abundant in both beauty and performance.

To provide peace of mind to all our customers and collectors, if there is any malfunction or deviation from standard timekeeping not caused by improper use by the customer, we are happy to perform repairs free of charge within the warranty period. If any parts are defective, Pixiu Watch will use 100% genuine parts from the respective brand's service center.

To facilitate our customers in upgrading their watches or converting them to cash, we offer a guaranteed buyback and trade-in price, though reasonable maintenance fees may be deducted if there are signs of heavy wear, such as dents, chips, or scratches on the crystal. Furthermore, we guarantee a full refund if a watch purchased from us is found to be counterfeit or contains counterfeit parts that were not disclosed by the shop in advance.
