The full name of this timepiece is the JLC Grad Reveil Perpetual Calendar Alarm. Its name hints at the advanced mechanisms packed within, to the point where one might simply call it a "Reveil All Complications." This luxury watch is crafted from rose gold with a 41mm case, featuring a double-stepped, grooved bezel that draws the eye toward the dial, which is finished with a white enamel technique known as porcelain. The hour markers are gold baton indices, chosen to accommodate the many elements on the dial dictated by its functions.
This watch features an alarm, set using a gold arrow-tipped hand with a red point that indicates time against the scale of 15, 30, and 45 minutes on the outer edge of the dial, with an activation indicator in a small rectangular aperture below the 1 o'clock position. The sub-dials at 3, 9, and 12 o'clock display the perpetual calendar, indicating the day, date, and month, respectively. Unlike an annual calendar, a perpetual calendar accounts for leap years (recognizing when February has 29 days; once this day passes, the hand automatically jumps to the 1st and advances the month to March). The final sub-dial at 6 o'clock displays the moon phase. Due to its extensive functionality, the watch features multiple crowns: the one at 2 o'clock is for setting the time, the 4 o'clock crown is for the alarm, and the 8 o'clock crown is for adjusting the calendar. It is powered by an automatic movement.
