This watch tells the true time according to the Earth’s orbit with the Equation of Time, the very origin of the sundial. Because the Earth orbits the Sun in an ellipse rather than a circle, the length of days and nights varies throughout the year, except for March 21 and September 23, when day and night are of equal length; these two days are astronomically known as the Equinox. Consequently, this Panerai displays both the conventional time based on a 24-hour day and the deviation from true solar time via an Equation of Time scale (+/- 15 minutes) at the 6 o'clock position. This scale adjusts automatically when you set the date and month via the sub-dial at 3 o'clock. The sub-dial at 9 o'clock serves as a small seconds indicator that stops when the crown is pulled out for time-setting, allowing for precise synchronization. This is a 48mm full-size Radiomir with highly complex functions. As always, it features a handsome polished steel sandwich-style case with a beautiful matte black dial, hour markers with luminous material that gives the appearance of patina in the style of vintage watches, and pencil-shaped hands. The case back showcases an 8-day automatic movement with a power reserve indicator, featuring a beautifully finished movement cover plate that reflects Panerai's signature neat and refined aesthetic. This makes the watch stylish, sophisticated, and suitable for all ages and special occasions. It is priced exceptionally well, considering the high cost of the Equation of Time movement alone; it is guaranteed to be a unique and worthwhile investment. The case is in beautiful, pristine condition with no major marks, and it comes complete with the original box and papers from 2015.

If any parts are defective, Pixiu Watch will use 100% genuine parts from the respective brand's service center.
