Perhaps no watch reinforces the intimate bond between astronomy and horology better than the 5102G. This astronomical timepiece displays the sky chart, the time of the meridian passage of Sirius, and the time of the meridian passage of the moon, all while featuring the moon's orbital trajectory and phases in a single watch. The main highlight is the dial divided into three sections: the outermost layer features the primary time scale with Roman numerals; the next section displays the northern hemisphere night sky as seen from Geneva; and the innermost circle shows the position of the constellations directly overhead. The circular boundary represents the true horizon, while constellations in the central dial outside this boundary represent stars positioned below the horizon. It is a delight to track the stars using this chart. In terms of engineering, the 43mm white gold case houses the automatic Cal. 240 LU CL movement, showcasing a beautiful 22K gold mini-rotor and high-level finishing. It tells time via two skeletonized leaf-shaped hands and features an iconic, bright yellow moon disc that changes according to the lunar cycle. Winding and time-setting are managed via the crown at the 2 o'clock position. Although the 5102G is currently discontinued, it remains legendary in watch auctions, where closing prices have soared into the millions due to its exceptional astronomical complications. This is a rare opportunity, and for those who appreciate the profound science of horology, I highly recommend seizing it.
Product Warranty
Pixiu Watch and our entire team are deeply committed to meticulously selecting and inspecting every timepiece we receive with the utmost precision. However, due to the numerous factors that can affect watch performance, we cannot account for every variable. Therefore, we cannot guarantee 100% that our watches will perform exactly like new items straight from a boutique. Consequently, Pixiu Watch is pleased to cover any discrepancies in the condition of the watch that we may have missed by providing a 1-year warranty on the movement of any watch purchased or traded through our store, effective from the date of purchase or trade. To provide peace of mind to all our customers and collectors, if there is any malfunction or deviation from standard timekeeping not caused by improper use by the customer, we are happy to perform repairs free of charge within the warranty period. If any parts are defective, Pixiu Watch will use 100% genuine parts from the respective brand's service center.
Buyback and Trade-in Policy
To facilitate our customers in upgrading their watches or converting them to cash, we offer a guaranteed buyback and trade-in price, though reasonable maintenance fees may be deducted if there are signs of heavy wear, such as dents, chips, or scratches on the crystal. Furthermore, we guarantee a full refund if a watch purchased from us is found to be counterfeit or contains counterfeit parts that were not disclosed by the shop in advance.
