An exquisite timepiece equipped with numerous functions, capable of sounding an alarm at the desired time with the melodious and resonant tones of a Cathedral Gong, meticulously decorated with fine finishing and an elegant blue hue.
A high-complication piece featuring a 24-hour GMT function in the sub-dial at 6 o'clock, with hour adjustment via pushers on either side of the crown. It includes an alarm system with a sub-dial at 1-2 o'clock for setting the time, and an adjacent sub-dial at 10-11 o'clock for the alarm countdown. An on/off pusher is located on the left crown, an alarm status indicator at 9 o'clock, and a Big Date display. It is powered by the 42-hour automatic Cal. UN-67 Speedbeat movement and is water-resistant to 30 meters.
The 42mm case is crafted from polished 18K white gold. The dial is beautifully finished with a blue plate and Côtes de Genève stripes on a silver base. The main blued steel hands are accented with yellow, designed to be open-worked so as not to obscure the dial details. A bridge at 8 o'clock allows you to observe the Cathedral Gong in action when the alarm sounds. The exhibition case back reveals the high-end movement, featuring an impressive 109 jewels; the movement alone is worth more than the price of the watch.
Considered one of the legendary premium timepieces in the industry, no collection is complete without a Cathedral Gong for the true enthusiast. This 2008 watch is in beautiful, working condition. Pieces like this are rare finds, so don't miss out.
